Harain Aldama is an energetic young boy with his whole life in front of him. In May, he was diagnosed with Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML).
He is fighting for his life.
Like many families, Harain's family is struggling and they do not have a lot. Harain has no health insurance and will not qualify at this time. His family, friends and the community have rallied together to try to help. We are asking for your thoughts, your prayers and if you are able to make any type of donation- it would help so much.

Hello,
My name is Harain Aldama. I am 13 years old and I came to Colorado when I was 6 years old with my parents. We came looking for a better future, like thousands of other families have done.
I live in Lafayette, Colorado. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother younger than me. My sister Jessica (Lupita) is 11 years old, Harian who is 5 and my little sister Arelette who is almost 2. My mother is Leticia Murillo and my father is Arturo Aldama.
I like to play soccer, run and I enjoy talking walks with my family through the streets in my neighborhood. Many people know us and we have a lot of good friends.
Right now, I attend 7th grade in Angevine Middle School in Lafayette. I like to study and my greatest dream is to be an engineer in technology and play professional soccer.
In May of this year, they detected Leukemia in my body. I was sad and I felt like the world was falling on top of me. It scared me a lot, more for my parents and brother and little sisters. I am fighting very hard and I believe that I can do it with God’s help. I am going to do it because I want to do all that I have dreamed of and with your prayers, I will continue to fight.

Mi nombre es Harain Aldama. Tengo 13 años de edad. Llegue a Colorado cuando tenia 6 años de edad vine con mis padres buscando un futuro major, como miles de familias lo han hecho.
Vivo en Lafayette, Colorado. Tengo tres hermanos menores que yo, mi hermana Jessica (Lupita) de 11 años, Harian de 5 años y mi hermanita Arlette menor de casi 2 años y mis padres Leticia Murillo y mi papa, Arturo Aldama.
A mi me gusta mucho jugar futbol (soccer), correr y disfruto mucho caminar, pasear con mi familia, por las calles de mi colonia. Mucha gente nos conoce y tenemos muchas amistades.
Yo ahora curso el septimo ano escolar en la Angevine Middle School de Lafayette. Me gusta mucho estudiar y de grande sueno con ser ingeniero en technologia y jugador profesional en soccer.
El pasado 12 de Mayo de estes año 2009, me detectaron Leucemia en mi cuerpo. Fue triste, senti que se me venia el mundo encima, me asuste mucho, mas por mis padres y mis hermanos y hermana.
Estoy luchando muy fuerte, para salir adelante creo que lo puedo lograr primero Díos, y lo voy a hacer, porque quiero ser todo lo que he sonado. Y con tus oraciones se que lo voy a lograr, porgue cuento contigo y tu cuentas conmigo.
